Wanna Guess What I Did Today?

No, no. Not JUST clean up crap. Today I got to clean up some puke, too. Lots of it.

The mid-sized child had come down with a bad case of "puke your guts up". Remember how he got buried in the sand at the beach on Friday? Well, I found this article online that says that getting buried in the sand ups a kids chances of getting a stomach bug. So warning to all, unless you are prepared to be puked on, don't bury your kid in teh sand. At least not at our beach.

I slept in the kids' room on the bottom bunk with Max, and his fever spiked about 4am, so once I got him doped back up, changed his diaper and lulled him back to sleep, I was finally drifting off into la-la land, only to be awoken by that undeniable sound of hurl hitting the floor. So at 5:30, I had to get Jack cleaned off and the sheets changed. By the time I got finished, Joel was up and on his way out. He has a BUSY day today and is going to be traveling and cannot afford to be sick. Jack didn't go back to sleep, but once Max woke up, the BATTLE OF THE WHINERS began. 2 small children, each sick and DESperate to be in mom's lap makes for a FUN day, let me tell ya. Jack's puking all over us; Max has crap dripping down his leg, and Mom in the middle.

But I am very thankful that my helper comes in on Mondays and was there to clean up most of the puke while I tended to crying children. I am very thankful for her and hopeful that she won't get sick (or quit on account of all the puke cleaning she did today).

While I was sitting and comforting all day long, I was able to finish this page for Jack's 2007 album. I am almost done, and I hope to have it printed in a bound book this week. I only have TWO pages left for Jacks album! :) Anway, this was for the CopyCat Challenge at the Creative Inspiration Blog.
