Id give myself a 4/10 on focusing on the big THREE I posted about last time, but I would give myself an 8/10 on being more AWARE during the day of those things. I realize most folks {read: husband} wont be too ipressed with this improvement, but considering that this time last week my awareness level was at about a 2, Id say I am improving. :)
And really, it's my blog, so what I say is really what matters.
Have I ever told you that my husband is Cajun? WEll, I hope I haven't cuz it aint true, but he did spend some of his formative years in Cajun country, where he developed an excellent taste for good food. And that man can cook. I told him tonight that I would marry him again just for his shrimp. He fried it tonight; if we ever have to move back to the States, we will open a restaurant and he will sell his shrimp and I will never have to worry about working ever again. It is that kind of good.
Or I could scrap. Probably wouldnt make the same kind of money, but I think I might could live in squalor as long as I had my camera, my computer and Internet access. Oh, and my family and the Lord, right? ;)
This is the last page I did before Joel got home:
I love it when I use a kit that has been sitting on my hard drive forever, like this one from Micheline Martins grab bag. The template is free from ChrissyW's blog; I linked up in the credits if you are interested.

Love the sunny-ness of this page! some of my fave colors. We are so fortunate to have husbands who can cook. Yours even cook shrimp, mine doesn't eat it. He's like Bubba Gump!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, a husband that cooks is a very good thing!
