Blue Jean Baby

I love blue jeans. They go with everything. They are comfortable. They look good on me. They make me happy.

I don't even wear those high dollar jeans, just the Old Navy "Sweetheart" jeans & a couple of Lucky Brand jeans. The Lucky jeans don't even fit snugly; I got them while I was in America in 2006, and I *might* have gotten a little thicker while I was there drinking Dr. Pepper & eating at Dixie Cafe weekly. But I kinda LIKE that about 'em. I can't stand clothes that are tight; Umbros were my most favorite shorts EVER. I miss them like crazy. It was like not even wearing clothes but nobody noticing.

Anyway, I made a layout honoring my love for blue jeans. I figure that is surely in the top ten things my children will remember about me. But I like for my jeans to fit, and I like to wear fitted T's with a beaded necklace. In fact, that pretty much describes my ideal wardrobe.

I am my mother's complete opposite. Have I ever told you that? She's all diamonds & gold & fancy clothes, and I like cheap necklaces & blue jeans & T-shirts.

But I am not a slob about it. That's all I have to say about that. Now I will show you my very fun layout:

I used Dani's Add-on from the Summer Sampler at SSD from last week, and I was going in a totally different direction, but once I threw that butterfly paper on there, I KNEW this page was gonna be about me!

I finished up another page for Max's first year album; only 1 page (almost finished), title page & book cover left to do. :) I'm not crazy about the page, just ready to be finished with the book, so I am gonna share it here, and if any of my scrapping friends want to suggest something I could do to finish it up, I'll play with it a little more. I don't feel the need to make Gallery Standouts with every layout, but I do kinda like to LIKE each layout, kwim?
