Now that is what I call self control

Well, it is 9:30 pm on Saturday night, and here I am ON THE COMPUTER. I did exercise a little bit of self control by not starting a new layout once I finished the one I am going to show you at the end of this post. I REALLY wanted to too, lol. I have a great idea for the Hodge Podge Challenge, and I just picked up Zoe Pearn's Some Like It Hot kit to use. It's hard to keep a kit like that waiting. ;)

Anyway, we took the kids out to the waterfront where there is a playground and then met some friends for dinner at the stalls close by. We didn't eat till 6:45, so I had to bring the kids home early, which wasnt a big deal. By the time I got them dressed for bed & all, it was already 8. But Max is at that point where he still NEEDS a nap, but if he GETS one, he is up till 9 or 10. :( So I am sitting here beside him (so that he deosn't scream and wake up everyone in our apartment), typing on my computer, waiting for him to go to sleep so I can do the same.

Really, do you care? No idea why I felt compelled to tell you all that blah-blah-blah.

I just placed an order for 57 layouts at ScrappingSimply, and with the 25% off coupon, it was only $42.32, plus shipping. I even had it shipped here, which I have never done before. I hope I don't have to pay customs on it; once we had someone send us a box of baby clothes & we paid SIXTY US DOLLARS to get the box out of customs! But US shipping was five dollars, so I figured for an extra five bucks I would try the international shipping. Crossing my fingers for it to work!

IN June we spent two weeks in Bali at a meeting we go to yearly, and Max got his first taste of being away from Mom. It was a bitter pill, let me tell ya. But after the third day he stopped screaming the entire time and actually had some fun.

This is actually a lift of one of the SEVEN new layouts I have done for the SP this month; I am definitely earning my money lately! I just opened up the .psd file and moved a few things around but kept the overall design the same. I really liked the original layout and wanted to get a page done quickly so I wouldn't feel guilty about buying yet another new kit when so many sit unused on my hard drive! But I love this kit so much I will definitely have to make a matching page to go opposite it in my album.
