It Never Gets Old

The sunset, that is. Last night I took the boys across the street to the beach just to get out of the house, and this glorious sunset awaited us.

I mean, we see it all the time and I still feel that sense of awe as I watch the sun go down over the South China Sea. Man, I love it here.

My kids were not being good subjects; the small child had missed his nap and the mid-sized child is missing his Baps (and sporting the attitude to prove it), but the sky was in full cooperation.
Man, I wish I had a fancy camera just for the view!

I haven't been sleeping well lately, so the dr. gave me a sedative that I took last night. I took it at 8 o'clock and it finally wore off around 2pm today. Don't think I'll be taking that again any time soon. I have been in a vegetative state all morning; I couldn't even drive Jack to school I was so stoned.

The worst part is that I didn't even get a good night's sleep! Jack woke up and got in the bottom bunk with me and Max and max tried to bite him to get him out of our bed and then it took Max till forever to go back to sleep. Of course I was so comatose that all I could do was say, "shhhh" and feel annoyed at the interruption.

Heather Roselli has put out a couple of fun summer kits I have really wanted so I did a blog challenge in hopes of winning one of the kits for free. :) It was an easy challenge, and this is my page:

I used You Make My World Go Round by Heather & Lauren Grier. I bought it ages ago, so I feel like a better person now that I have used it.

Did you know that Karah Fredricks left Oscraps? She has her store at Blue Flombingo on half off right now, so I picked up a few things with a gc I had. Here is the link: LINK.
