Now I have to tell you that the mid-sized child talks incessantly in the car. I mean NON stop. And, because I do so value my sanity, I tend to tune him out.
But this caught my attention. So I asked him to expand. And here is what he said,
Kiss your mama. Kiss your bapa. Kiss your baby. But don't kiss your friends.
So I ask him, "Jack, did you kiss somebody at school?"
Jack: Noooo, mom. She kissed me."
And then apparently the teacher defined for her who she could kiss and who was not available for kissing. Jack doesn't know her name, but apparently she sits next to him. And Ko Kai Yen did not like this. Yen is Jack's girlfriend since last year when they were in nursery class together. But fortunately Yen is a good girl and isn't trying to kiss the boys. Yet.
But to be fair, I do remember kissing my boyfriend in 1st grade at recess, but ONLY because we were playing wedding and getting married and everyone knows you can't get married without a kiss.
Well, I have no layouts to show you because i went to bed when the kids did last night. I wish I felt rested as a result, but I still feel pretty darn tired. I have a layout started using Kasia's Autumn Kiss (one of her last kits before she stopped making pp) that I got for a dollar at SPD, but I don't think I have the energy to finish it. I have also been browsing a little at the WST & Catscrap sales. I am just sort of burnt out on new kits and don't have enough time to use the ones I already have and love, ya know?
I think I am gonna go hit the sack. Here's hoping for a restful night's sleep!
