BUT IT WASN"T! Jack has a good friend at school whose dad is mixed, half British, half Malaysian, and let me tell you, it is a YUMMY combination! That man is the kind of handsome that makes you blush while you talk to him, and when you leave you can hardly remember what you said but you feel CERTAIN that it was all foolish nonsense.
See how easily distracted he makes me! What I was saying is that we ran into Jack's friend, Brandon, at the mall yesterday, and he was with his dad. The kids were so happy to see each other that I suggested a play date...NOT the kind where the parents hang out too, but the kind where I take Brandon home with me after school and then his MOM comes and gets him later. So I gave his dad my number and told him to have Brandon's mom call me. Jack has LOTS of energy that he needs to burn every day, and I am always happy when he can burn it off playing with a friend.
I also ordered curtains for my living room & bedroom. We have been in our house for 2 months now, I think it is high time that it started looking like "home". I'll show you pics when I get them hung (hopefully before Joel gets back next week!).
I am almost finished with Max's first year album; I only have three more pages to go, plus the title page. I really love the way this one turned out; it is pretty simple, but the colors are really me. Plus I love that alpha by Amy Hutchinson.
Heh heh, good story! You must be so excited that Max's book is almost done!
