Getting Closer

I had a great time in KL with Janet and another friend! We ate at Chili's, shopped at an import store (this is the equivilant of shopping at say Barney's in NYC; you can't afford the stuff but you'd sell your soul so that you can splurge on a few goodies) and then went back to the hotel room and talked from 3 until 7! Then we had dinner at Subway, shopped at Borders and went back to the room to talk some more.

Sunday we went to Ikea, where I spent WAY too much money, then found a cute shop where I spent too much on clothes but got some great deals (and I finished off my outfits here in KK with some $3 shoes & $2 necklaces. :)). Then we headed back to the airport and I finally got home at 11 pm Sunday night. It was a busy weekend but so much fun!

I totally missed my kids the second day though. The first day was delightful, but day 2, after Ikea, I was ready to be home! I did, however, enjoy traveling alone and reading TWO, yes two, books!

When I got home, I was woken up around 2 am by a puking Jack and a covered in puke Max (the downside to sleeping on the bottom bunk, I suppose), so we had a very lazy Monday, which worked well for me, since I had like ten loads of laundry to do.

I snuck in a little scrap time last night and put together this page, which officially finished Jack's 2007 album!
I have so many pages swirling in my brain it's hard for me to stay off the computer and get things done. But I am doing my best...sort of, lol.

I also got published this month in the Artisan Notebook. I have never bought that publication before, so I am excited to see what it is like.

Oh, before I forget, did you see the GORgeous kit at DDE for just $2? The deal ends today, and my budget is tight, but it was way worth it. :)

I hope my two readers are doing well and are rejoicing with me that I now only have to finish Max's cover & his intro page in order to have my albums finished that I had planned to order back in August. :)

  1. your 'two readers' comment completely cracked me up!! I love the cover you did of Jack's album--very sweet. I just love that you have such lofty goals with their albums, I am so far behind at this point that I don't think I will ever make it! :)

  3. I am so glad you finished the album. Now onto the next one LOL!! Your trip sounds so fun but you must make your way to Nashville soon. It would be so fun. Congrats on being published. You are truly an amazing scrapper and you should be published on a daily basis. I haven't left my teams. I just haven't got around to adding them to my side bar yet on my blog. I am trying to scale back though. It's hard but I am doing better.
