Oops.
So I will pick a winner tomorrow, but you wont be picking up your copy of pure scrapping delight until next week. ;-) So sorry about that. I should have checked with her first, but that would be so out of character for me...
LAST WEEKEND
So Saturday night we took our friends up to this restaurant that takes like 45 minutes to get to, and about 20 of those minutes are driving upa hill that is like 2 miles. That is like driving 6 miles an hour. But when you get to the top, you can see the whole city and the coast for like two hundred miles. It is an amazing view...only when you come down, well, not only is it steep, dark and unpaved in parts,, but when it is foggy and raining, it can be easy to miss the correct road down the hill.
And Saturday night, that 2 mile hill took us AN HOUR AND A HALF to get down. I seriously think we drove all the way around that freakin mountain. I wasnt afraid, even when the guy driving was like, I cant see a THING in this fog...or when my husband got out of the car in the pouring rain to walk into what he thought was a neighborhood without electricity...or when this old guy comes out of the electicity-less house dressed in only his sweatshirt...even when we had driven for an hour and could still see the city looking JUST as far away as it did at the top. My only concern was that we were going to get stuck on this road and have to sleep in the car until it was light enough to see our way out.
Thats right, I was worried about being uncomfortable because that is how I am. Probably falls into my husbands top five least favorite things about me. But fortunately I was in the third row of the vehicle and he was in the front, so he couldnt' hear all of the incredibly witty and sarcastic comments I was making.
Fortunately I got to sleep in my own bed that night and all was well. LSU won on Sunday {our time} and I got to scrap, so my weekend was complete.
EXCEPT that at church Sunday, some teenager turned on X-Men in the children s room and I had to take my kids outside while all the other unsupervised children got the scare of their lives.
I started this page like in August and just couldnt get it to work, so yesterday I grabbed one of Cindys templates and whipped this up. I wanted to use that bold red bg that is in the kit, but I am a chicken.
So anyway, sorry again about getting those dates wrong. I will pick me a winner tomorrow, but youll just have to be patient and wait till next weekend to download your goodies. Have a great monday!
LOL! That would scare the crap out of me too... like I mean... you don't know who's been sitting in those seats!!!! lol! TFS!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny. Your kids are gonna have a blast looking back on all your stories! I would have been terrified going up or down that hill. I am not good with heights.
