Under the Weather

It's been a yuck week for me. It started Sunday, when I came down with a bad stomach ache; I wasnt throwing up or anything, my stomach just HURT. Monday I woke up with what I thought was the beginning of a sinus infection, but I sucked it up and babysat for a friend and taught that afternoon and had company over for dinner. By the time they left, I could hardly sit up anymore. Instead of going to the beach with our friends like I had planned, I spent the day at home feeling bleh. Today I felt better, but after lunch, that stomach ache came back. I don't know whats wrong with me, but I think I'm gonna go ask the doctor tomorrow. For only $12/visit, there is no reason not to!

I have scrapped some while I was sick. I have a list of unused kits I have bought since NSD, and I would like to get those as close to zero as I can before DSD next month. This one uses Pamela Donnis' Brown Eyed Girl:

That photo is from 2005; it has been sitting in my redo folder SINCE I FINISHED IT in 2007, lol. It was for a SSD challenge, and I wasn't happy with the way it turned out. I feel so glad to have scrapped that photo I love so much on a page that makes me happy. {Oh, that "Always" piece is word art by CD from an LDD collab}

This next one is about how hard it was while Joel was gone. I love the looks on the boys' faces, lol. I started this layout back in August, couldn't finish it, so I tried another template, couldn't make it work and finally stumbled up on this one by Ashley Kennedy and knew I had a winner. It didnt take too long to finish, and while it isn't my favorite layout ever, I like the end result.
And I was super surprised to be featured at the GSO Blog with my My Boy layout. :) It was extra special because I got noticed by my muse, Lynnette, AND shared the space with one of my faves, Stephanie.

I'm gonna try and make up for lost time now that I am not desperate for bed and my kids are already asleep. Have a great day!

  1. I just found your blog from a comment you left on another blog. I don't want to sound to stalker-ish, but I just love your little "about me" intro. I can totally relate to all of it! Anyway, I added your blog to my favorites and will be checking for updates. :)
