Sorry, I was so excited to share my just finished layout yesterday that I totally spaced on sharing my new SP layouts.
I present to you, Christmas 2005, Jack's first Christmas.
I can't believe it has been almost FOUR YEARS since we took those pictures! He totally did not get into opening presents; he didn't like playing with toys even at that age. The top one uses one of Cindy's templates; I normally don't like to use templates for CT layouts, but I was really having a hard time getting started. Themed kits are hard for me for some reason. And I left the stitching a little off to make it look realistic, but now I just think it makes me look lazy. Oh well, I have already printed it so I guess it doesn't matter.
I have an even HARDER time using winter themed kits. The kit is really cute, and I don't think I did justice to it, but I do like my layout.
We about died when we went home at Christmas last year; it was 90 degrees when we got on the plane and like 30 degrees when we got off. Max cried every time we went outside for the first 2 days because of the cold. Of course Max spent most of the trip in tears; he had a hard adjustment. It's hard to imagine now because he is so freakin adorable all the time, but he did not like america when we first got back! We got to see snow during our layover in Chicago, but my camera was in the packed luggage and we didn't get to take pics. :( Hopefully when we are hope next winter we can arrange to see snow. My parents are coming out at Christmas, and Jack is convinced they are bringing snow with them.
Here's hoping you don't see any snow yet!

I just want to ask if my life is sad when I was driving back from a few days visiting family (without internet) and I was thinking about scrapping and how I had bought these SP kits and I thought, I wonder if Kellie has added her layouts to her blog yet? It kind of cracked me up. I am not stalking you, just a big fan of your scrapping and really enjoy your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better!
I forgot to add "because" between sad and when!
