I've Been Tagging

So you know how I have this obsession with using the kits I buy, right? Well I'm down to like five unused kits since I started keeping track:
SA Collab with CD
A Message by Kate & Gabi
Dec by Jennifer Barrette
KCB Weatherman
W&W Kickin Up the Leaves
Funky BLossoms by Ashley Kennedy
And I'm not counting the ones I got for free, btw.

So I thought, gosh, that's not so many. I think I'll really take advantage of Miss Mint's Boxing Day sale...

But before I did, I went back through my EHD to see how many other unused kits I have from all year. Not a good move on my part. 56. That's right. FIFTY SIX UNUSED KITS. I didn't pay for all of them, but still, that's a lot of stuff that I actually LIKE just sitting there neglected.

So I got busy tagging. I created a new category called "Unused Kits" and a subcategory called SSD Kits, though I am really good about using my SSD kits, so it's mostly just stuff I got from KCB & Susan & Zoe when I won gift cards to their stores earlier this year.

There were a few things i found and was like, "OH, this would be PERfect for ______ page!" and a few things I found that I thought, "WHAT IN THE WORLD made me buy that!"

Now that it's the end of the year, I'm reflecting on the decisions I made in 2009, ya know, not just scrapping decisions, lol, but overall, and I'm thinking about what decisions I want to make in 2010, and I'm pretty sure digital scrapbook shopping has got to be an area where I see change.

56 unused kits say so.

But I have been doing good about using kits I bought. I already scrapped Christmas morning:

Right Jolly Old Elf by Bella Gypsy & Expressive Moments #5 by Emily Meritt (I have now used 3/4 templates i paid a dollar for, totally got my money's worth!). I love Emily's templates for small photos when I don't have good pictures.

Then I used That Summer Feeling by Weeds & Wildflowers (which I got on sale) and Lizzy's free template from her blog.

My parents get here in two days, and I am beyond giddy about it! I am not planning any big trips or anything; I just want to chill out and be with them. Can't wait!
