I took her to church with me Sunday night to the BM language service. Joel couldnt' make it, but I really wanted her to have the experience. Well she got an experience all right. The kind of experience that makes a person decide that maybe she'll stay single forever for fear of someday having two small terrors to take care of.
I told Max, who is 2, not to get out of his chair. He got down, looked me right in the eye and said, 'Well, I sorry, but I have to." and then he took off.
Hes in that stage where he falls on the floor sobbing if I put water in his instant oatmeal. He wants to eat it straight out of the package. On the couch. He is killing me.
Black Friday
I somehow ended up with another month's budget worth of scrapping supplies on Black Friday. I talked Joel into letting me shop for an hour. It was an expensive hour, clearly. I got some great deals, and then I realized that I wanted to make a page about McDonald's for the Digi Dare Challenge and needed Kaye Winecki's cute Fast Food felt pack, but it was no longer on sale...so I paid full price for it. Then decided I wouldn't actually use that page for the Digi Dare Challenge after all.
I havent had time to scrap with any of it yet, though. Life still has not slowed down for me, and now I am into December and my commitment to stay off the computer during the day. So by the time our friends left tonight and I got the house picked up, it was already 9:30. Which, btw, is time to go to bed for someone who stayed up till midnight crunching numbers for her husband.
And did I get a thank you?
No. I got a "See, I told you that you could get it done if you worked hard enough."
Love that man.
I did, however, scrap a page before my black out, that I want to share with you.
So I got to check off Amanda Rockwell's Fun Time kit from my "unused" list. Of course I added like five new things to the list, but I am itchin to scrap with those as soon as I can get the kids to bed early and not have unexpected guests.I am off to bed now. Hope you all have a happy Tuesday!
My sister and her husband spend every Sunday afternoon with us and they say that it's the best birth control ever.LOL
ReplyDeleteYou're a better woman than I am to stay off the computer during the day, although I'm now trying to limit it to just during naptime and I get up early in order to get in a bit before the kids wake up.
oh, that bit about the church experience made me laugh. I feel that way almost every time we go out the door!
