Tuesday's Child is Full of Grace

And I never really felt like that was true so much for me until this past week. Remember how I have been doing Pilates at night? Well I finally talked my good man into joining me. He has the hardest time going to sleep, and the pilates actually helps. It has been kind of nice, too, because we spend that 15 minutes together being quiet and focused, and then we lay on the floor and talk for another 15 minutes. I wish he'd do it every night, but he doesnt like ""being controlled". Because apparently when you love someone and want what is best for them, you are being controlling.

but that is not what this post is about. It is about how insanely unflexible that man is. It''s not like he is lazy; he plays ultimate frisbee three times a week, works out three days and runs on his off days. But he couldn't touch his toes if an elephant stood on his back.

And I could hardly keep from rolling with laughter as he tried to lift his legs or have controlled movement. It was great! And I have never felt so gracefull in my entire life. :)

Jack's First Birthday Party Invite
Jack got invited to a birthday party for his friend from school over school holidays in June, and he was beside himself with excitement. He's seen birthday parties on Dora & Blue's Clues, but he's never actually GONE to one, poor guy. He kept talking about party hats & birthday cake, and the party at mcdonalds totally met his expectations. I recorded the memory on this page:

This is the kit I used. It's 25% off this weekend, as is the rest of the shoppe. :)

I did this recently and hadnt shared it here yet. I love this Wild Love kit by SP; that bg is so fun, isn't it?
The two of them were so cute kissing on each other. :) I was just disappointed I couldn't get a picture of them kissing. I think it turned out cute anyway.

  1. Well, it must be a "man" thing because when I can talk Brian into doing an exercise video with me, I spend most of the time doing my best not to bust out in uncontrollable laughter because he's so darn clumsy (and I feel great!). LOL

  2. I am just going to say "ditto" to what Melissa said!! I have also been doing my Pilates videos again (thanks to your inspiration!) and this week I was thinking back to when we were first married and Micah did them with me and he literally could not straighten his legs out for the Pilates 100 and I always just want to laugh!
