I know, "Liar" is kind of harsh, but "The Lie" just didn't look right, lol. I scrapped this story for a digi dare over a year ago, but I hated the way it turned out. That's one thing I don't like about The Digi Dares..."dare flair". I hate having someone tell me how to scrap. So it's been sitting in my "unfinished" file ever since, and I haven't been motivated to redo it. Here's the original:
Anyway, back to my Sunday. My friend had to take her daughter to pick up her ID card, so i took them out there and then went to find head of her village's daughter, who quit school, ran off and got married and now is living with her in-laws and can't go home for fear of her father. Oh the drama, lol. The last time I was in the village, I promised her mom I'd look out for her daughter, but her hand phone broke and blah blah I hadn't met up with her yet. So I knew if I was going back to the village, I couldn't go back without having a report on her. So I miraculously remembered where the village she's living in is ( I had been there once back in Nov. for a wedding). One good thing about being the only white face around is that as soon as someone saw me drive up, they went to get her.
After I picked up my friend and her daughter at Immigration, I drove them back to their village. I have a lot of friends there, so it was a good opportunity to catch up. We had a good time; the kids played and got dirty and I got to sit and chat with my girls. :) So despite the four hours in a car, it was a nice day.
Sounds like a busy day!! Your LO's are gorgeous!
