PLUS, I think it's a bit of insanity to scrap like crazy to get a discount so that i can buy MORE stuff to scrap with...then scrap like crazy to buy MORE stuff. It's a crazy cycle. Robin is a genius for getting us to get on the hamster wheel, cuz once you're on, you just CAN'T get off. The lure of pretty things is more than I can stand. I keep looking at my wishlist and that keeps me going, lol.
So here are some of my favorite pages I've done for the challenges:
Journaling Challenge: My son is named after my grandfather who died when I was 10 weeks pregnant. :( No one who is alive today ever heard him say a bad thing about another person. It's crazy to think I have those genes running through my gossip loving veins. ;)

For the Ad Inspiration Challenge: I started this page like 6 months ago, and just never was motivated to finish it, so the challenge was the perfect opportunity to use that big gorgeous photo from our hotel balcony and still highlight the other photos.

Neapolitan Challenge: Basically I just lifted Dani's layout because it's so fantastic. I did add a couple of touches from the other layouts, but I just couldn't get over how much I love this page of Dani's. I used Dunia's Mixed Emotions kit, which is so bright and fun.

SAL: This is another page I started months ago, so I feel like I killed THREE birds with one stone...got pictures scrapped that I love, got to delete a page from my "Unfinished" file AND got to use a kit that I adore.

Random Challenge: First, look at the two photos I blended together.

Now, aren't you SO impressed with how cool it looks? ;) I'm really not crazy about my word art, but until I think of something better I'm gonna leave it as is.
So I'm 19 points into my sweet rewards. I've really liked the last few pages I've done, and I'm really looking forward to working on Sue's "Creative Crops" challenge, which I hope will lead me down the path to pure Sue awesomeness. {fingers crossed} I was also planning on doing a layout for the WST "Sunday Paper" Challenge, since all you have to do is scrap with WST stuff and post it to their gallery on Sunday to be eligible for a free kit, but...
Someone called this morning to see if we could pick her and her daughter up at the airport at noon. When I asked her where she wanted me to take her, she said, "Oh, we're not leaving till tomorrow." So I said, "You want me to take you to the bus stop then?" and she said, "Yes, yes, the bus stop in town." I feel pretty sure that what she *really* meant was, "Will you pick us up at the airport, take us to your house, feed us dinner, take us around the city, let us sleep at your house and THEN take us back to our village (2 hours away) tomororw?" So we'll see how this day turns out. I'm always open to being a blessing as well as receiving a blessing...most days. I'm thinking my attitude is going to depend on who how much I like this woman, and since I'm not sure exactly *who* she is, we'll have to wait and see.
