So you probably didn't know this, but I never actually told my husband I was blogging. See, I started blogging back last spring just for the FOBTY challenge at SSD, so it wasn't worth mentioning. Then last summer, I decided I'd like to try it for real, but I didn't post that often, so I didn't mention it, but after a while I started deleting the history each time I posted to it so Joel wouldn't find out. {yikes}
I got a little convicted about it and broachecd the subject with him. He was adamant that I not start blogging because I don't have time...
If he only had a CLUE how much time I waste each day he would realize how insignificant the time spent blogging is ,but I am pretty sure he wouldn't see it that way.
So I kept my little secret. I just like having somewhere I can be ME, not Joel's wife or the boys' mom or worrying about am I gonna offend someone with what I say, etc. But my parents knew (they're long past being offended by anything I say), and I got afraid that my dad was gonna let it slip, cuz you know, he might have done this sort of thing before, no offense dad.
And then I got REALLY convicted about how keeping a blog should NOT be more important than honesty in a relationship, so I fessed up to Joel. He was pretty mad, but he said that once I proved I could keep the house clean and do the things that need to get done first, I could eventually start the ol' blog back up.
Pretty reasonable, I think. So I'm not there yet, which means no more blogging for a while, but once I am, I will let my three readers know, kay? ;)
Before I sign off, though, I want to share my last couple of layouts with you. I'm no longer with the Shabby Princess :( but I got a guest spot on Pamela Donnis's team (I love felt), and I made this page with her newest release:
Santa really creeped Jack out, even though he kept trying to make him feel better by calling him by name and telling him he knew his dad...
I made this for the SSD Rewind Challenge, and I used KCB's Flourish, which I checked off my unused kit list, woo hoo!
I am trying to work on those challenges, but I'm not getting very far. Something about being such an accomplished time waster...
I also have a guest gig with DDE, the second shop I downloaded from, and Dani & Zoe were practically begging me to join them when they found out I was available. ;) We'll see how I handle all this responsibility after a year of having like one new kit to work with every other month!
I hope to develop some self control and be back soon, but judging by the way this morning is going, it's not very likely.

Congrats on the new teams. Ummm, not enough time for blogging? LOL
